In 1980, Ms. Katina Dunn graduated from the Evanston, Illinois campus of Northwestern University armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech. Ms. Dunn, while at Northwestern, elected a curriculum that included both speech classes and journalistic experiences.
As one example of her success in the aggressive world of journalism, Katina Dunn’s Orange County Register column earned syndication as a result of its unique voice and accessibility. Katina Dunn’s freelance writing has also been published extensively, and her work has enjoyed prominence in such widespread periodicals as the New York Times, the Chicago Sun-Times, and the Chicago Tribune. In addition, Ms. Katina Dunn’s words have graced the pages of Newsweek Magazine and Chicago Magazine.
Katina Dunn’s editing experience includes her position as Assistant Editor with the Daily Southtown Economist (where she held a simultaneous role as a reporter) and as the Style Editor with the Orange County Register. Ms. Dunn is also credited as the former Managing Editor of Core Media Weeklies. Katina Dunn’s editing experience has granted her considerable managerial and administrative skills, and combined with her well-developed writing skills, has allowed her to spearhead her own projects, such as founding and publishing the Mt. Wilson Observer.
Katina Dunn currently resides in Sierra Madre, California.
